Recreating the Charm of Campfire Singalongs With Folk, Folk-rock, and Classic Country Tunes
Intimate House Concerts and Small-Venue Performances
Nostalgic for the good old-fashioned campfire singalongs, "hoots" and other gatherings where we shared our love of music “back in the day?” Jonathan Bernstein, Baby Boomer singer/songwriter, recreates that experience via intimate house concerts and small-venue performances for private individuals or groups. Enjoy your favorite current folk, folk-rock, and classic country music with just Jonathan, his acoustic guitar—and you! Ideal for special occasions, to draw people to a real estate open house, or simply to re-unite friends and family in song.
For a small additional fee, Jonathan can also write a customized song - humorous or serious - about almost anything. Surprise a loved one!
About the Folksinger
Jonathan Bernstein came from a musical family; his father was a concert-level pianist, and his mother was a former big band singer. He’s been folksinging since age 13 when his late mother did him the favor of telling him, “You’ll never stick with the guitar.” Raised in the heyday of folk music, he played at private parties, on college campuses, and at coffee houses until refocusing on his “day jobs” for 40+ years.
